St. Bonaventure at Niagara

The St. Bonaventure University men's and women's swimming and diving team will travel to Niagara Falls to take on Niagara on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Bonnies Backstory

• Previous meet: The men were narrowly defeated by Binghamton, 156-144, while the women dominated with a 177-121 victory over the Bearcats last Saturday at the Reilly Center Pool.
• Graduate Maciej Danilewski registered three wins on the afternoon, while Kyle Gluck, Maxwell Murray, Alexander Behr and Zyad Morsy picked up individual victories last weekend.
• Senior Rachel Kimmel earned three individual victories and a relay victory, while Zanre Oberholzer, Silvana Cabrera, Halle Myers, and newcomer Amanda Baird were victorious for the Bonnies.

A-10 Honors

• Senior Rachel Kimmel was selected as the Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming Co-Performer of the Week, the third time this season that she has earned this honor. It's the first time since the 2017-18 season that a Bonnies swimmer has won at least three Atlantic 10 weekly awards in the same season.
• Freshman diver Zyad Morsy also earned Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season.

Mid-Season Transfer

• Amanda Baird, a junior transfer from Northern Michigan, has made a huge impact since joining the team in January.
• She has won both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive against Canisius and Binghamton.

Up Next

• The Bonnies will travel to the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio to compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships. This three-day event will start on Wednesday, Feb. 16 and conclude on Saturday, Feb. 19.
