ST. BONAVENTURE vs. CANISIUS
Saturday, Dec. 3 – Dive: 10:00 a.m. / Swim: 12:30 p.m.

The St. Bonaventure University men's swimming and diving team hosts Little Three Rival Canisius in the Reilly Center Pool on Saturday, Dec. 3. The two programs met last season in Buffalo, the Bonnies picked up a 151-143 victory over the Golden Griffins.
LYME DISEASE AWARENESS
- Saturday's meet will serve as the team's Lyme Disease Awareness Meet.
- The teams will wear special edition lime green caps and sell lime green T-shirts and gear to raise awareness for Lyme Disease.
- All proceeds from the shirts and gear sold will go to the Lyme Disease Foundation.

SETTING RECORDS IN CLEVELAND
- The Bonnies last competed in the Magnus Cup, which was held from November 17-19 at Cleveland State.
- Sophomore Alexander Behr set a new program record in the 100-butterfly, touching the wall in a time time of 47.52. He overtook Tjaard Krusch, who was at the top of the record book since he registered a time of 47.57 during the 2020-21 season.
- The 800-freestyle relay team of Behr, Nicholas Nakaya, Maxwell Murray, and Tomas Botero shattered the meet record of 6:43.22 set by Simon Fraser University in 2017, swimming a time of 6:41.43.
- The men finished fifth out of 10 teams in the three-day competition with a final team score of 610.
A-10 HONORS
- Last week, Behr earned Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week honors for his performance at the Magnus Cup.
- Along with being a part of two records, he earned a pair of runner-up finishes.
- The Letzendorf, Germany native notched second-place times in the 100-freestyle (45.12) and 200-butterfly (1:47.66).
UP NEXT
The Bonnies' divers will compete in the UB diving invitational on Jan. 13-15, while the swimmers will be off until Jan. 21 when they travel to Binghamton. The meet is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.
