ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Bonnies men's lacrosse senior goalie
Brett Dobson continues to earn recognition for his outstanding play, this time being named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division I Team of the Week.
Dobson, who was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday, takes national accolades. He made 19 saves in a 7-6 win at Marist last Saturday with his 19
th save coming with 18 seconds left to preserve the one-goal win.
Ten players nationwide earn the recognition each week for exceptional performances.
Dobson has helped power a 6-2 start for the Bonnies by ranking first nationally in save percentage at 66 percent while also standing second in saves per game with 16.5 per contest. His 8.98 goals against average is fifth among all D-I goalies.
The Bonnies return to action this weekend, hosting Manhattan at the Marra Athletics Complex Saturday at 1 p.m.
