WEST POINT, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's swim and dive team had their unbeaten streak snapped Friday evening, falling at Army, 169-55. Junior diver Ben Giera led the way for the Bonnies, collecting wins in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive.
 
Giera posted a score of 283.58 in the 1-meter and 311.93 in the 3-meter event.
 
Ben O'Neill had a good night on the boards as well, finishing second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter.
 
Carlos Hidalgo collected points in multiple events for the Bonnies. The sophomore recorded a fourth-place finish in the 50-free with a time of 21.30 and fifth in the 100-free (46.93).
 
Senior Alexander Behr picked up a pair of fifth place finishes in the 200-fly (1:52.18) and 200-free (1:43.52).
 
Behr finished behind freshman Mark Mizsei in the 200-fly, whose time of 1:49.35 earned him a third-place finish.
 
The Bonnies posted three more fourth-place finishes in the 200-IM from Connor Peck, the 200-back from Henry Wilkes, and the 200-breast from Aidan Kreiley.
 
Both the 400-medley and 200-free relay squads finished third.
