Junior Casey Malloy also made his regional championship debut, registering a time of 33:33.1 which slots 12th in the Bonnies record book.
QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH BOB MACFARLANE
"As the 2024 cross country season comes to a close at the Northeast Regional meet, Coach Lonzi and myself are impressed with our runners that qualified to participate.
"Aiden Scattergood improved in time but also in over 40 finishing positions from last year's regional meet. Will and Casey were both running their first 10K, and were able to put up respectable finishes and move into our record book."
"We want to congratulate everyone on our team on an outstanding season. Their dedication, hard work, and perseverance have truly paid off, and it's been incredible to watch all grow as athletes. From the tough workouts to the big races, they have shown what it takes to push through challenges .They should all be incredibly proud of what they accomplished. And knowing most will be coming back to improve in the 2025 season, believing in themselves and the system will produce positive results."
"Congratulations also to our senior cross country athletes on being exceptional leaders. We are looking forward to the track season and working with them as we head into a new season."
