HAMPTON, Va. — The St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving team earned a third-place finish at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship meet. The Bonnies collected four medals and set three program records over the four days of competition. 

This year's finish was a 78-point improvement upon last year's sixth-place finish with 357 points. 
 
George Washington was the men's champion for the fourth year in a row followed by Massachusetts. George Mason took fourth as a team while Davidson finished fifth. 
 
On the final night, Alexander Behr collected the lone medal for SBU as he finished in the runner-up spot in the 200-butterfly. His time of 1:44.97 was just 0.06 seconds off his own program record. 

In the 1650-freestyle, Maxwell Murray swam a 15:35.10 to finish fifth in the event. Mikolaj Synowiec and Joshua Bannon also competed in the event, finishing 10th and 13th respectively.  

Swimming in the B-final of the 200-fly were Denton Smith (1:50.90) and Aiden Hall (1:51.76). 
 
Mark Polos finished 12^th in the 200-breaststroke while Luigi Termine and Henry Wilkes finished ninth and 10^threspectively in the 200-backstroke. 
 
Grad students Tanner Falls (44.44) and Sam Matthews (44.42) swam in the consolation finals of the 100-freestyle.
