ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving team is set for their home finale Friday as they host Cleveland State. Swimming is scheduled for Friday at 5:00 p.m., and diving is scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
 
The Bonnies plan to honor their six graduating seniors, Alex Behr, Dylan Cachia, Aidan Kreiley, Mikolaj Synowiec, Knute Wargin, and Sam Matthews prior to the start of the meet on Friday.
 
Friday's swim portion of the meet has been moved from The RC Pool to Olean Intermediate Middle School located at 401 Wayne Street. in Olean. 
 
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Alexander Behr has been a major contributor to the team over his four years with the program. Behr owns the Bona program records in the 100 and 200-butterfly. He is a multi-time medalist at Atlantic 10 Championships, including two silver medals in the 200-fly. Behr is also a member of the 800-freestyle relay team that set the program best time in 2024. He is a two-time Atlantic 10 All-Academic team selection as well as a CSC Academic All-District Team and CSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team selection.
 
Dylan Cachia joined the Bonnies squad in January 2024 and has been a competitor in the distance races. Cachia finished with a time of 9:50.88 in the 1000-freestyle at Atlantic 10 Championships in 2024.
 
Aidan Kreiley joined the program in fall 2025 as a graduate transfer. Kreiley has already left a mark on the program, etching his name into the record book in November. Kreiley broke the program record in the 200-breaststroke, posting a time of 1:58.07.
 
Sam Matthews is a two-year member of the Bonnies program. He claimed a ninth-place finish in the 100-free at Atlantic 10 Championships last year and has been a consistent contributor in dual meets and relays.
 
Mikolaj Synowiec is a three-year member of the program. He has consistently contributed in the distance races, earning a fifth-place finish in the mile at championships in his sophomore year. Synowiec finished 10th in the 1650-freestyle at Atlantic 10 Championships in 2024 with a time of 15:53.82.
 
Knute Wargin is a four-year member of the program. He recorded a 10^th place finish in the 100-breast at last year's Atlantic 10 Championship meet and has multiple top-3 finishes at dual meets in his career.
 
ABOUT CSU
The Vikings enter Friday's meet unbeaten in dual meets this season. They also were victorious at their mid-season invitational, taking the team crown at the Magnus Cup where the Bonnies placed second.
 
The Vikings were selected third in the Horizon League preseason poll.
