PISCATAWAY, N.J. – St. Bonaventure divers
Ben O'Neill and
Dhavgely Mendoza completed competition at NCAA Diving Zones Tuesday. Both O'Neill and Mendoza competed on both the 1 and 3-meter boards.
O'Neill placed 26
th in the 1-meter prelims with a score of 266.90. He also earned a 29
th-place finish in the 3-meter prelims on Tuesday with a 276.10.
At Atlantic 10 Championships two weeks ago, O'Neill earned a silver medal for the second consecutive year in the 1-meter (309.35).
Mendoza had her best finish in the 1-meter, posting a score of 231.95 to place 40
th in the prelim field of 80.
She recorded a score of 221.00 in the 3-meter to place 57
th.
Mendoza earned a silver medal in the 1-meter at A-10 Championships. The freshman posted a 273.65 to earn second place in her first season with the Brown and White.
