WASHINGTON, D.C. – St. Bonaventure University softball freshman Nolah Moyer has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.
Moyer slashed .571/.647/.643 over five games last week for the Bonnies, registering three multi-hit games while driving in three runs.
In the Bonnies game one win over Niagara Wednesday afternoon, Moyer drove in a pair of runs, finished 2-for-3 at the plate while also working a walk.
Moyer collected two hits and scored a run in the game two for the Brown and White.
At Saint Louis last weekend, Moyer was 4-for-7 across games, belting a double in game two of Saturday's doubleheader.
On the year, Moyer is batting .298 with three doubles and 12 RBIs. She is currently on an 11-game hit streak which started in game two against Dayton April 9.
Monday's honor marks the second straight week a Bonnies player has garnered Rookie of the Week honors as Mackenzie Frani was tabbed as the conference's top rookie last week.Â
The Bonnies are back in action Thursday, May 1 when they host Mercyhurst at Joyce Field. First pitch is slated for 2:00 p.m.
