ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – For the first time in his career, St. Bonaventure junior Jaxon Dillon has earned Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors after a performance for the record books this past weekend.

Dillon netted six goals in Bona's contest at Delaware on Saturday, tying the program record for goals in a single game.

The Victoria, British Columbia native tallied a hat trick before halftime and at one point also put together a natural hat trick of three consecutive goals between the second and third quarters in one of the strongest offensive performances this season by any Atlantic 10 player. His six goals represent the season high in the A-10.

Nine of Dillon's 10 shot attempts were on net and he rounded out an all-around performance with two groundballs as well as a caused turnover.

He became the fourth player in Bonnies Division I history to score six goals in a game and now is the second A-10 Offensive Player of the Week in program history, joining Kellen Pulera who did so last season.

For the year, Pulera has set career highs in goals (17), assists (9) and points (26) as well as groundballs (16).

The Bonnies wrap up the season this Friday night, taking on Hobart at the Marra Athletics Complex. Faceoff is slated for 7 p.m.
