KINGSTON, R.I. – Freshman Mia Winters established a new school record in the 3000 meters to highlight the weekend competition for the St. Bonaventure women's indoor track team at Atlantic 10 Championships on the campus of Rhode Island University.

"Over the course of the 2023 indoor season, our athletes have re-written the program top-10 record book," St. Bonaventure head coach Bob Macfarlane said. "Our student-athletes have maintained a high level of competitiveness, desire and dedication to achieve their goals. They all had the will to prepare and never gave up. We're proud of their accomplishments during indoor season."

Winters ran her Bonnies record time Sunday as she clocked in at 10:54.46. That easily broke her own record which stood since only last week of 11:02.32.

Also in the 3000, Emily Peterson ran a personal best time of 11:13.36 to jump to fifth on the school record individual top-10.

Freshman Adria Magnusson represented the Bonnies in two events, the 400 and 800 meters which she previously set the school record for both earlier this semester to qualify for the conference championships. She ran a time of 1:02.43 in the 400 and 2:27.16 in the 800 on Saturday afternoon.

During indoor season, the Bonnies set six program records and 19 student-athletes re-wrote the school's individual top-10s a total of 29 times in nine separate events.

The Bonnies will now take a brief break before starting outdoor season in March.
