BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Three new school records were set by the St. Bonaventure men's track team Sunday afternoon at the Brockport Invitational.

Freshman Riley Dillon had a hand in all three.

Dillon first set another school record in the 400 meters, breaking the mark of 51.29 he set a week ago in his outdoor debut as he followed that up by posting 50.94 on Sunday. He finished third overall in the event, just off the winning time of 50.70, out of 23 competitors who registered time. Sophomore Christian Figueroa also ran a PR of 51.35 to place fifth in the race and remain second individually in the program record book. Freshman Aidan Hurley also PR'ed (52.13).

Later in the day, Dillon would post another new school record in the 200. He posted 23.48 to nip the previous Bona's best mark of 23.50 set by Shawn Callahan in 1986.

Dillon was part of a third school record as a member of the 4x400 relay team that clocked in at 3:30.79. He teamed with Figueroa, Joshua Lopez and Kieran Ryan to break the old school record by nearly three seconds which was set at Saint Francis (PA) last year by Ryan, Figueroa, Zane Courtwright and Brian Gleason.

Sophomore Aiden Scattergood's win in the 1500 meters stood as another highlight of the day. He clocked in the winning time of 4:01.78, just off his own school record of 4:00.04 set at last year's Atlantic 10 Championships. He won Sunday's race by over three full seconds as Nazareth's Ethan Kenyon finished second at 4:04.91 in the field of 44 competitors.

Senior Zane Courtwright finished third in the 1500 and sophomore Aiden Holt placed eighth with a PR run of 4:09.61 to give the Bonnies three top-10 finishers in the event.

Freshman William McCarthy placed second in the 3000-meter steeplechase at 9:47.23.

Another freshman, Joshua Lopez also claimed the runner-up spot in the 800 meters as his run of 1:59.41 was just behind the winning run of 1:59.33. Senior Kieran Ryan took fourth in the race out of 52 competitors at 2:01.50.

The Bonnies return to action next Saturday at the University at Buffalo.
