Lex showed the way for the St. Bonaventure women's cross country team Friday evening at the Little Three Championship with an impressive personal best time on the 5K course at Beaver Island State Park.

Despite slick conditions in places following a storm that rolled through the area prior to the race, Lex crushed her previous PR by over 30 seconds as she ran the layout in a time of 18:49.05. Her effort is the top 5K time by a Bonnies athlete in the past seven seasons and catapults her to fourth in school history.

Lex was Bona's top finisher at fourth in Friday's race, behind only Kayla Schmidt (18:30.18) and Ella Krumpek (18:31.75) of Canisius and Alexa Briggs of Niagara (18:42.72).
