QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH BOB MACFARLANE
"The men's and women's teams showcased strong performances as they prepare for the upcoming championship meet next week. Despite a challenging season with limited track workouts—often having to train on treadmills or take advantage of rare outdoor days —the athletes demonstrated resilience and determination, giving their best efforts across all events. Their hard work and adaptability despite the obstacles bodes well for team culture.
"At the meet tonight, athletes who had already qualified (for A-10 Championships) for their events ran down to focus on improving their speed, while those who hadn't yet qualified had another opportunity to race and secure their spots. As the regular season wraps up, many athletes achieved personal bests and several made it onto the top-10 record board. Looking ahead to the A-10 Championships, both the men's and women's teams are well represented, with 15 athletes for men's squad and 12 women qualifying. It's a strong finish to a season marked by perseverance and growth, setting the stage for a competitive championship meet."
