Chris Malott is among the finest in a long list of St. Bonaventure swimming greats.
Over his four years (1984-88), the freestyle specialist set nine Bona records, 11 pool records, two Eastern Intercollegiate records and totaled 52 dual meet victories.
He also qualified for the U.S. Senior Nationals four times.
His senior season, Malott was named the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimmer of the Year and qualified for both the NCAA Championship and the U.S. Olympic Trials.
A Dean’s List Student, Malott also was named the Ideal St. Bonaventure Man and graduated with honors.
