In a long line of decorated athletes to represent St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving, Martin is among the best of all-time.

A key to Bona's back-to-back Atlantic 10 Champions of 2013 and 2014, he stood as the conference individual champ for the 50-free in 2014 and the 100-free in 2012.

His medal collection grew extensive by the time of his graduation as he captured four silver and three bronze medals at Atlantic 10 Championships during his career.

Martin also racked up the hardware in relays, serving as a clutch member of eight gold medal-winning relay teams as well as two which earned silver and two more taking bronze over four seasons at the conference championships.

In the 2014 title-winning meet for the Bonnies, Martin helped set the Atlantic 10 Championship record at the time for both the 200-free relay and 400-free relay.
Today, his 50-free time of 19.90 remains second in program history while his mark of 1:36.87 still stands fourth in the 200-free. The 400-free relay time of 2:55.48 set by Martin and teammates Michael Pilyugin, Viacheslav Shchukin and Ripley Danner remained the Atlantic 10 record as of his 2026 induction.

Martin also combined with Pilyguin, Shchukin and Danner for a mark of 6:29.80 in the 800-free relay which remained the Bonnies record for a decade and today still stands second.

Martin captured dozens of dual meet victories during his Bonaventure career and also was a standout in the classroom as he was selected to the 2014 Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team.
