WSBU Athlete of the Year in 1980 and again in 1982. She was a swimming state champion in both 100 and 200 yard freestyle in 1980.

In 1981 she won state championships in six events. In 1982 she was state champion in both the 200 yard freestyle and the 400 medley relay.

She was named Division III All-American in 1982.
