Christine Hanley stands as not only one of the top women's lacrosse players in St. Bonaventure history, but one of the most decorated athletes across the board in recent Bonnies Athletics memory.
A four-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection, she was named First Team All-A-10 in both 2010 and 2011 after being a Second Team honoree in 2009 and an All-Rookie Team pick in her debut season of 2008.
Hanley is the program's all-time leader in goals with 154 while her 195 total points rank third in Bonnies history as of her induction.
Her senior year, she shared the department's Letterwinner Award with Anna Cunningham and graduated as the program's leader for games started (60), groundballs (124) and caused turnovers (88) – totals she continues to rank top 10 in for Bonaventure all-time ranks.
She tallied 48 or more points in each of her final three seasons, including 63 as a sophomore in 2009 and 57 the following year.
Following her graduation, she spent time on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the Bonnies.
In the classroom, she also achieved excellence by earning Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team honors.
