"Bo" graduated from St. Bonaventure with a unique distinction as an all-around athlete. Besides being exceedingly talented on the basketball court, he has the distinction of having played five years for the Bonnies.
As an outstanding player with the Bona Prep team, he was promoted to the college varsity team when William (Bud) Heine left school.
He is generally recognized as being the first Bonaventure basketball player ever to receive national recognition - honorable mention All-American in his senior year when he captained the team.
A lefthanded performer, he was the mainstay of the Bonnie teams. He led his team in scoring in his junior and senior years.Â
Besides lettering in basketball, "Bo" earned a football monogram as an end in his senior year.
