Tom Tegeler was a three-time All-Conference catcher for some of coach Larry Sudbrook’s most successful baseball teams. He earned first team All-Atlantic 10 honors both his junior and senior seasons and was a second team choice in 1993.
Tegeler helped the Bonnies to the A-10 Tournament berths in both 1994 and 1995. A hard-nosed player known as an outstanding hitter, Tegeler set most of the school’s career batting records including home runs (24), RBI (148), hits (197), at-bats (572), and runs scored (127).
His .344 career batting average ranks seventh in the program’s history and his home run mark now stands fifth.
