Hall of Fame
As teammates for four seasons at St. Bonaventure, Mikko Haulos and Vili Nurmi led the Bonnies men's tennis program to unprecedented heights. Behind the duo from Finland, St. Bonaventure won its only two Atlantic 10 Championship titles and advanced to the NCAA Championships in both 2001 and 2003.
With Haulos and Nurmi leading the way, the Bonnies also achieved their only two appearances in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) regional rankings – No. 13 in 2001 and No. 15 in 2002.
Haulos was also a four-time All-Atlantic 10 pick and finished the 2000 season No. 28 in the ITA regional singles rankings. He also partnered with Nurmi for a No. 15 ranking among regional doubles teams in 2000.
