Half of St. Bonaventure University’s famed Painton-Faust "The Dream" backfield, he was a punishing runner for the football team.
Named Little All-American (1935), his work ethic and determination set a standard for St. Bonaventure University running backs who followed him. He was the first St. Bonaventure player to gain national recognition. Clem became a school teacher after his playing days were over.
He is a major figure in St. Bonaventure football history.
